JAMMY CON FESTIVAL POLICY:
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending JAMMY CON, you agree to comply with the following policies and any instructions from event staff and venue security.
1. Code of Conduct
• Treat all attendees, staff, performers, vendors, and volunteers with respect at all times.
• Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, stalking, bullying, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, or violence will not be tolerated.
• Anyone violating the Code of Conduct may be removed without refund and/or reported to venue security or authorities, at the discretion of organizers.
• If you experience or witness a Code of Conduct violation, please notify staff or security immediately.
2. Right to Refuse Entry & Removal
• JAMMY CON and the venue reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the event, any individual whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or violates these policies, at their sole discretion.
• Removal or denied entry under these circumstances will not be eligible for refunds, in accordance with the Ticketing & Refund Policy.
3. Minors Policy
• Attendees under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
• Attendees aged 12–17 may attend without a guardian but remain the responsibility of their parent or legal guardian.
• Guardians are responsible for the safety and behavior of minors in their care.
• JAMMY CON cannot supervise unattended minors and is not responsible for any consequences arising from lack of supervision.
4. Lost Children & Vulnerable Attendees
• If you become separated from a child or vulnerable attendee in your care, notify staff or security immediately.
• Lost children or vulnerable attendees will be brought to a designated secure area until reunited with their parent or guardian.
• For privacy and safety, public announcements may be limited; staff will coordinate reunification through internal communication.
5. Ticketing & Refund Policy
• All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless the event is fully canceled.
• Lineup and schedule are subject to change without notice. Artist or schedule changes do not constitute grounds for refunds.
• Tickets are non-transferable unless a ticket transfer option is explicitly offered by the ticketing platform or JAMMY CON.
• Counterfeit, resold, or tampered tickets will be voided without refund, and entry will be denied at the discretion of organizers.
6. Anti-Scalping Policy
• Unauthorized resale or scalping of tickets, VIP passes, or add-ons is strictly prohibited.
• Violators may have their tickets canceled without refund.
7. Wristbands & Credentials
• Wristbands must remain intact, securely fastened, and visible at all times.
• Wristbands are non-transferable once applied. Do not remove, share, or alter wristbands.
• Tampered or lost wristbands will not be replaced and may result in denied entry or removal without refund.
• Some areas (e.g., VIP, photo ops, backstage, staff-only spaces) require special credentials or passes. Access to these areas is at the discretion of organizers.
8. Re-Entry Policy
• Re-entry may be limited or unavailable depending on venue rules and event operations. Any re-entry rules will be communicated by organizers.
• If re-entry is permitted, attendees must retain their wristband or hand stamp and present it upon re-entry.
• All re-entry is subject to security screening.
• Lost or tampered wristbands will not be replaced and may result in loss of re-entry privileges.
9. Personal Bag Policy
• Only bags 15” x 12” x 6” (approximately 38 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm) or smaller are permitted, including handbags, small backpacks, and crossbody bags.
• All bags are subject to security screening upon entry.
• Exceptions may be made for diaper bags and medical bags, which are also subject to inspection.
10. Prohibited Items
• Weapons of any kind (including replicas, sharp cosplay props, or items that could reasonably be used as weapons).
• Outside food or beverages (except approved medical or special dietary items as outlined in the Medical & Special Dietary Needs section).
• Illegal substances.
• Laser pointers, fireworks, aerosol cans, large umbrellas, folding chairs, drones, or unmanned aerial devices.
• Items that emit excessive noise or obstruct views (e.g., air horns, large signs on poles), unless explicitly approved.
• Any item deemed unsafe or disruptive by security or event staff, at their sole discretion.
11. Alcohol and Drug Policy
• The use, possession, or distribution of alcohol or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
• Smoking, vaping, and cannabis use are prohibited inside the venue and in any areas designated as non-smoking by the venue. All use must comply with local laws and venue rules.
• Intoxicated individuals may be denied entry or removed for their safety, at the discretion of organizers and security.
• This policy does not restrict lawful, prescribed medications used as directed.
• Medical assistance will be provided if needed.
12. Smoking, Vaping & Cannabis
• Smoking and vaping (including e-cigarettes) are only permitted in designated outdoor areas, if provided by the venue.
• Cannabis use, consumption, or possession must comply with local laws and venue rules. Use of cannabis inside the venue or in non-designated areas is prohibited.
• Failure to comply with this policy may result in removal without refund at the discretion of organizers and security.
13. Medical & Special Dietary Needs
• Medically required items (e.g., inhalers, EpiPens, prescribed medication) are allowed after inspection by security.
• Attendees with dietary restrictions may bring small quantities of approved food for personal consumption only (for example, one meal-sized container or snack), subject to inspection.
• Please notify staff for assistance if you have questions about medical or dietary accommodations.
14. Health & Safety
• Attendees experiencing illness are encouraged not to attend for the safety of other guests, staff, and performers.
• JAMMY CON may implement health protocols (such as masking, sanitization, capacity limits, or distancing) in line with public health guidelines and venue policies.
• Attendees must comply with all posted health and safety instructions and any directions from staff or security related to health measures.
15. Emergency Preparedness
• Emergency exits will be clearly marked, and staff will guide attendees in the event of evacuation.
• Certified medical staff and first aid stations will be on-site.
• In any emergency or evacuation, attendees must follow all instructions from staff, security, and emergency personnel.
• Contingency plans will be activated in cases of severe weather or other emergencies, which may include schedule changes, area closures, or early event termination.
16. Security Measures
• All attendees are subject to mandatory security screening upon entry.
• Security personnel will be present throughout the venue at all times.
• Refusal to comply with security screening or staff instructions may result in denied entry or removal without refund.
• Emergency response procedures are in place for unforeseen incidents, and attendees must follow all instructions from staff, security, and emergency personnel.
17. Accessibility
• The venue is accessible to attendees with disabilities.
• Staff are trained to provide appropriate assistance when requested.
• Certified service animals are permitted in accordance with venue and provincial regulations. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted.
• Attendees requiring specific accommodations are encouraged to contact organizers in advance so we can make reasonable efforts to assist.
18. Pets & Animals
• Only trained and certified service animals are permitted inside the venue.
• Pets, emotional support animals, and unapproved animals are not allowed.
• Service animals must remain under control at all times. If a service animal is disruptive or unsafe, organizers or venue staff may require its removal.
19. Sustainability Initiative
• JAMMY CON is committed to reducing environmental impact.
• Recycling stations will be available throughout the venue; attendees are encouraged to follow posted signage when sorting waste.
• Single-use plastics will be minimized whenever possible, and attendees are encouraged to bring reusable bottles and containers where permitted by the venue.
20. Vendor Guidelines
• Vendors must follow all health, safety, venue, and provincial regulations.
• Food vendors must comply with hygiene and food-handling standards.
• Merchandise vendors must respect copyright and intellectual property laws. The sale of counterfeit or unlicensed merchandise is strictly prohibited.
• Any giveaway items must receive JAMMY CON’s written approval before being distributed, preferably at least [X] days before the event.
• Unauthorized distribution of flyers, samples, or promotional materials is prohibited.
• Vendors are responsible for their own transactions and must clearly display pricing and refund/exchange policies.
21. Unauthorized Commercial Activity
• Selling, soliciting, busking, or promoting any product, service, or event without prior written permission from JAMMY CON is prohibited.
• This includes unauthorized distribution of flyers, posters, business cards, or promotional materials inside the venue or immediately outside entry points.
• Organizers reserve the right to remove any unapproved materials and to remove violators without refund.
22. Trading Zone Rules
• Designated Trading Zones are strictly for trading ONLY.
• Selling items in trading areas is prohibited.
• Do not block walkways, vendor entrances, seating, or emergency routes.
• Attendees must follow staff instructions regarding relocation or crowding within Trading Zones.
23. Cosplay & Prop Safety
• Cosplay is welcome, but safety comes first. Costumes must allow safe movement and must not block exits, aisles, or views.
• Props that resemble realistic weapons, include sharp edges, fire projectiles, or could reasonably be used to harm others are prohibited.
• All props may be subject to inspection and may require peace-bonding or tagging. Security and organizers have final say on what is permitted.
• Failure to comply with staff or security instructions about props or costumes may result in removal without refund.
24. Performer Interaction Rules
• Do not approach restricted areas, backstage zones, or artist-only spaces.
• No physical contact, unsolicited gifts, or attempts to bypass security.
• Throwing objects, rushing the stage, or disruptive fan behavior will result in removal.
25. Media & Photography Policy
• All media coverage, press activity, and professional photography/videography require approval from JAMMY CON organizers.
• Personal photography and short-form video for non-commercial use (e.g., on phones) are generally permitted, except in designated no-photo areas or where additional rules are posted for specific performers or sessions.
• By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional and archival purposes. JAMMY CON retains full editorial control over all event-related materials.
• Professional photographers and videographers (including those using prohibited camera equipment) are not allowed unless officially invited or accredited by organizers.
• Unauthorized recording of artists, performances, or restricted areas is prohibited and may result in removal without refund.
26. Camera Policy
• Point-and-shoot cameras and mobile phones are permitted for personal use, subject to the Media & Photography Policy.
• DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or any camera with a detachable or interchangeable lens, as well as professional video equipment, are strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved by JAMMY CON.
• This policy protects performers, staff, and intellectual property.
• Attendees who bring prohibited camera equipment may be asked to return it to their vehicle or off-site storage, or may be denied entry or removed without refund if they refuse to comply.
27. Queueing & Crowd Control
• Follow staff instructions for all line-ups, entry procedures, and seating.
• Cutting lines, blocking pathways, or saving spots for large groups is prohibited.
• Running, pushing, or any behavior that compromises attendee safety is strictly prohibited.
• Unsafe crowd behavior may lead to removal without refund at the discretion of organizers and security.
28. Lost and Found
• A designated Lost & Found area will be available during the festival.
• Staff will make reasonable attempts to reunite lost items with their owners.
• Unclaimed items may be disposed of after the event.
29. Venue Rules
• All attendees must comply with venue rules and regulations in addition to JAMMY CON policies.
• In cases where venue rules are stricter than JAMMY CON policies, the stricter rule will apply.
• Venue staff and security may enforce venue-specific rules at their discretion.
30. Privacy & Personal Data
• JAMMY CON may collect and process attendee information in connection with ticketing, access control, safety, and event operations, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
• Personal data will be used for operational purposes and official JAMMY CON communications, and may be shared with service providers (such as ticketing platforms or the venue) as necessary to run the event.

31. Liability Waiver
By attending JAMMY CON, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks related to attendance, including personal injury, illness, property loss or damage, vendor interactions, and crowd-related conditions. Organizers, staff, the venue, and partners are not liable for such risks to the fullest extent permitted by law.
32. Force Majeure
Events beyond our control may lead to schedule or lineup changes. Refunds will follow the Ticketing & Refund Policy.
33. Policy Updates
Organizers reserve the right to amend policies for safety and operational needs.
